Looking
back on the mission endeavors of CCCS of this past year, it was indeed a very
busy year. We witnessed the
step-by-step leading, and the timely providing of the Lord, making the ministry
leaps forward to continuously support the global missions work and training of
His workers. We want to thank the Lord
for the blessings and protection.
1. Mission Committee Coworkers:
Thank C.N. Liao and Anthony Tse for their devoted
services in the Mission Committee for the past few years. They moved to different serving areas. This year we have Jae Lee of the English
congregation, and Ailan Guo of the Mandarin congregation joined the Mission
Committee, working with Rev. Benjamin Lee, Gerald Chu, Patrick Shum, and Yu-Shu
Ting to promote the mission ministry.
We pray for the remote missionaries, support the local missions organizations,
plan short term missions, and care for the seminary students.
2. Support units:
CCCS supports 20 mission agencies and missionaries,
and one seminary student. This year, we have a few missionaries came to CCCS to
share their mission ministries:
- In February, GO International Kyrgyzstan missionaries Abraham
Kwong and his family came to CCCS to share their gospel work to the Muslim
people in Kyrgyzstan.
- In March, Pastor from the Johannesburg Chinese Church of South
Africa came to share his missionary work for the past ten years. He hoped better cooperation and
collaboration between his church and CCCS.
- In October, Rev. Ting Lee from CRM came to share the literature
and translation ministries, and the mission works in China.

and he is 2/3 completed of all the courses. Jinchang went back to China in June to visit relatives and

Gabby Zhong came back to church sharing her partnership with AFC and the
campus ministry at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia between December 2
– 4.
Next
year we want to root deeper in missions and training. We hope to encourage spiritual life that brothers and sisters
will willingly join team-oriented missions to spread the gospel. Our plan for next year is to have two short
term mission trips to Jamaica in Central America. One will do English musical evangelization, and the other will do
mission work in local Chinese church.
We will concentrate to support and care for our seminary students, and
that we have better collaboration. We
hope the seminary students can help us to promote our Mission vision. After graduation, through their journey of
short-term mission, mid-term mission, that they can successfully enter the
mission field to serve the Lord. Lets
make CCCS mission ministry not just a “send money, send people” church, but to elevate us to be witnesses in “Life,
Ministry, and Mission”, spread the Gospel, and lead people to the Lord. May all the glory and praise be to God.
